Break away from your usual routine and relax on the sea cliffs 8 km east of Witsand at a temporary pop up camp where all your needs are fully catered for. You have access to private beaches below the camp and can enjoy the day sunbathing or cooling off in the ocean.

Witsand, also known as the whale nursery of Southern Africa is a small coastal town situated at the mouth of the Breede River and offers white sandy beaches surrounded by Cape Fynbos.
The area is rich in natural heritage with an abundance of birdlife and fynbos. Great hiking and biking trails are on offer and the beaches are safe for swimming and walking. The area is also renowned for great watersports such as surfing, fishing, snorkeling and canoeing.

The ultimate remote experience
The canvas safari lodge type tents are spacious and practical for the coastal
setting. Each tent sleeps 2 people in twin beds – some can be converted into
queen beds. The tents are furnished with proper beds, coil mattresses, comfy
duvets and blankets. Additional furnishings include 2 x camping chairs to enjoy
the amazing view, bed side table, cupboard, solar light and camping lamp.
Each tent has its own private hot shower cubicle with a chemical toilet and a
basin (Soap, shampoo and towels provided.) The showers are bucket showers to save water in this water scarce area. Your shower will be brought to your ablution at your convenience.
A turn down service is provided with hot water bottles if the evenings are cool.
