2. Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of full payment, requests will be processed within 3 business days and confirmed by way confirmation voucher
4. Cancelation & Refunds policy
The provision of services by Map2Africa is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Map2Africa will offer alternative options of the same standard or refund the client in full within 30 days.
All cancellations must be done in writing via email to your Map2Africa consultant
Cancellation of orders by the client are subject to the following conditions:
60 days and more prior to arrival: 30%
59-31 days prior to arrival date: 50%
30 days and less prior to arrival date: 100%
COVID RELATED CANCELATIONS:
If client’s cancel due to testing positive for COVID19 or can not travel due to borders being closed for covid, the above cancelation policy will not be applied. We are flexible and this is on a case to case basis, depending on our suppliers, but we try to negotiate the best possible terms for our clients and always highlight these specific terms before deposit payments & confirmation are finalized
Map2Africa shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569 .
6. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
7. Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Map2Africa via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
8. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Map2Africa separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Map2Africa takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and service delivery.
11. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Map2Africa chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Map2Africa may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Standard Terms and Conditions
- Booking Terms and Conditions In order to confirm your reservation, Map2Africa requires a 30% deposit payment at the time of making your booking. Failure to do so will result in your reservation automatically being canceled. The balance of payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of your itinerary. Bookings made within 60 days or less prior to departure are subject to full prepayment at the time of confirmation.
Travel Insurance You agree to purchase comprehensive travel insurance upon confirmation of your booking. You acknowledge that without travel insurance, you will be responsible for all costs arising from any cancellation, re-routing, or rescheduling of your trip or any emergency (medical or other) that may arise during your travels.
Waiver, Indemnity & Liability
Map2Africa act as agents between our clients and our suppliers to secure the best booking for you, we cannot however be held responsible for any defects, changes or cancellations in the bookings or trips, which includes, but is not limited to, delays, loss or damages arising from any causes, including dissatisfaction with the booking ,or any loss, damage or delay caused by the suppliers or any third party.
All vouchers and receipts issued by the supplier or any third party will be subject to their terms and conditions and you undertake to abide thereby while doing so and participating throughout the trip at your own risk and liability.
Map2Africa and its directors & agents are hereby indemnified by yourself against any claim for loss or damage whatsoever that may arise or have arisen in connection with any services supplied or offered by or in connection with them.
Any claim or claims which you, your agent, executor or heirs may have for any compensation for damages or loss, or the like from Map2Africa resulting from injury or any loss occasioned whatsoever, are hereby irrevocably waived and this includes any transportation to or during the trip as well as any illness, injury or death arising during or after the trip.
