Take a 3 night self drive breakaway to Hazyview and camp in style. The camp is positioned in a perfect location which allows guests to explore the area as well as access the Kruger National Park where you will have the opportunity to spot the Big 5. Africamps at Mackers is located in the beautiful Sabie Valley Nature Conservancy between Sabie and Hazyview.

Sub-tropical farming town
Set in Mpumalanga, Hazyview is central to the Kruger Lowveld Region and known as “Paradise Country”. The area is well known for its wildlife, birds, the areas boasts fascinating historical towns, the Blyde River Canyon and the well known view from God’s Window.
The farming town is known for producing bananas, macadamia nuts and coffee industry. We are based in the Sabie valley nature conservation area. The camp is practically located of Sabie and Hazyview on the R536. Approximately 17 km from Hazyview and 26 km from Sabie.
3 night stay at Africamps at Mackers (Kruger Area)








3 nights glamping on the river bank
The farm is only a 25 minutes’ drive from the Phabeni Gate of the Kruger and offers peace and tranquility. All the luxury boutique style glamping tents are river facing and only a few meters away from the streaming water. The are a number of activities available to guests, including hiking trails, a swimming pool and fishing and perhaps a spa treatment which can be booked in the comfort of your tent. Please note this these facilities are all self-catering (meals not included). There are picnic stops available, breakfast/lunch stops available at one of the Rest Camps.
The camp is suitable for the family and each tent takes up to a maximum of 5 guests and is able to provide a baby cot and high chair. The kitchen is fully equipped, has electric blankets, air conditioning, an oven, bbq area, shared swimming pool facilities and its own wood burning fireplace.
